We’re here for your pets throughout every stage of life.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best.
Pet Packages
We offer puppy and kitten packages. Included in these packages are vaccines, stool analysis, worm and heartworm medication (for puppies), feline leukemia/immunodeficiency virus testing. We will recommend which puppy or kitten package is best for your pet.
Acupuncture
Medical animal acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment for easing pain and comforting your pet. Medical acupuncture can be used for treating pain, soft tissue injury, arthritis, weakness, incontinence, and many orthopedic injuries. It can also help with illnesses such as kidney disease, nausea or depressed appetite, diarrhea, constipation, cancer, dry eye and auto-immune disease along with many other conditions. It is remarkably well tolerated by even the most sensitive pet.
Diagnostic Imaging
Radiology
Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high-quality digital radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound equipment is utilized on-site for the interpretation of abdominal disorders. A board-certified radiologist is available for complicated cases and performing ultrasound-guided needle aspirates and biopsies.
Dentistry
Regular dental care is extremely important for an animal’s overall health and longevity. We offer complete oral health assessments that include inspection and charting of all teeth, full mouth X-rays as well as scaling and polishing. Keeping the teeth and gums free from disease is one of the most important ways to keep your pet healthy.
Microchipping
The chance of being reunited with a lost pet increases greatly if they’re microchipped. Microchipping can offer reassurance that, if lost, animal shelters and veterinarians can identify your pet. A tiny microchip is placed under the skin between your pet’s shoulder blades. The microchip has an identification number on it, which can be read by a scanner. A veterinarian’s office or animal shelter can scan the chip to find out who owns the animal.
Parasite Prevention
We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard, and on your pet.
Behavioral Counseling
We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, anxiety, house soiling and aggression.
Senior Health Care Program
Did you know that your pet becomes a senior at the age of 7?
Importance of regular screening tests
Senior dogs or cats may appear healthy on a physical examination but could have an underlying disease.
Importance of dental prophylaxis
Dental disease can shorten the life of your dog or cat. It can also cause systemic infections and organs to become diseased.
Importance of proper nutrition
Seniors sometimes need a change in their diet to promote better health, control kidney failure, and weight control.
These are just some of the things the doctors will be discussing with you regarding senior care.
